Footman's Logg; August 19 18XX

I've visited Miss Macbain and seen the extent of her injuries, missing leg, eye, some scarring, it's amazing she survived the crash, then again she had the sample of serum I had given her still, but apparantly the doctors that healed her noticed her healing was slowed. She never did say what caused the crash however, could easily have been an airkraken. The prosthetics are well made however, and do nothing to detract from her appearance. Sadly I had to return to my lab and work, so the visit was unfortunatly cut short, work on a new airship, this one different from the Rama and Oroboros class ships and designed more for combat, I've run into a slight hang up mounting the Big Bertha gun on it's carriage however, as the zepplin was unable to lift off the platform with it, I may have to just settle for smaller weapons.
