Miss Gizzy has returned from Harbor Landing, I had sent her there shortly after the troubles with 13, both to aid the automotons there in renovating the colony, and for her own safety.
I was fishing at the canals (and finally caught the top to the bikini I had sent to Miss Macbain)
Apparantly she and Miss Anatra had moved Pocket from the field when he found himself trapped in it.
(not entirely sure how that happened, as he seems quite alive)I had breifly worked on Miss Gizzy's new casing, some ceramin/steel composite I had found at Ichor Falls.
It was simple to attach the peices to Miss Gizzy's frame, and soon she was back up and out the door to run errands.
Back to the device, I have worked on a smaller device. It utilizes the same ideas as the larger anti-ectotheric device. Miss Gizzy was not available , so Miss Hermit aided me. I brought out my elemental manipulatory gauntlets and entered the feild, we had to syncronize the frequencies of the devices with tht of Mr. Slenderman,. His was three numbers, I adjusted the dials, the gauntlets diffusing the feld around me, and called out each number as I reached it. She would input it in the portable. I finally called out the final number in the sequence, 11.∞.....
Miss Hermit asked if it was a smudge, I yelled back no, it was eleven, point, figureeight on it's side...11.∞. She set the dial and shortly after, as the hair on my arms was starting to singe from the energy loop between the devices, the indicator lamp came on, SLenderman was in the portable.
I set the controls and finall threw the main switch on the larger device.....and it did nothing.
I stood there confused breifly, then wih a loud bang, it collapsed into peices, spoke coming from the wreckage admidst a series of small explosions.
I left a note to the Badger to clean up the mess tomorrow, and rebuild the crypt
